Does AdvGO2Bot send my username or password to it's servers?

No. We do not want your login details, ever. We do tie your registration to your Facebook Id. The Facebook Id is public information, it looks like a long number for example: 1000000001010231. It is shared with most websites you visit, and is public on IGG event pages. Your login details are never transmitted anywhere.

The competition is trashing your bot.

We think competition is a good thing. It forces change and advancement, just the existence of AdvGo2Bot has caused the competition to talk about actually adding new features. We welcome healthy competition and think it will better our product. Ultimately which one is better will be determined by the people using the bots. We will not trash our competition, we think our work speaks loud enough.

How often does the bot talk with your servers?

If you are a registered user, it checks the registration when the game reloads. It also checks when you click the Register button.
Unregistered bots only check for updates. The bot also checks for a new version every 6 hours.

Why doesn't AdvGO2Bot encrypt the settings file?

We do not believe in Security Theater we understand that if a user gains access to the machine a bot is running on then all bets are off. You can easily view the username and password of any running bot using tools like cheat engine. it is also possible to decrypt the settings file by decompiling and reverse engineering the encryption scheme. the lesson to learn here isONLY GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER TO PEOPLE YOU TRUST

I heard that your bot is just a hacked version of the competition?

Actually when we started we did reverse engineer the competition and use that as a starting place by making compatible settings files. Then over the next few years we wrote everything from scratch. With the rare exception of some of the settings page layout, and some of the settings storage logic. All of the logic is unique, which is why we don't have the same features, bugs, or problems.

The competition supports more servers and languages than your bot, are you going to add more servers and languages?

Since we rewrote everything from scratch we decided to focus on features we wanted to use in the game and stability. We now feel that the bot is stable enough we can start adding support for additional languages and servers. We are planning on targeting the additional english servers first, then the native langauges of the other team members.
If you have a language you would like to move to the front of the list, we do take requests and may offer a free subscription for signifigant help translating.

What the heck are all the Humaroid Setting about?

• Check for Huma Minutes: This is how often the bot will check if you have any fleets available to run huma. If it finds fleets available it will search for huma to send too. Be careful with this setting, it is possible if you have a lot of fleets running huma combined with max huma distance setting to never stop looking for huma to send to. Lets say you had it set at 10 minutes, the bot will search for 10 minutes then the next search will trigger and start over again.
• Max Huma Search Distance: This is the search distance based on how the game calculates distance from one location to another, the bot will start with the huma locations closest to your planet location and work its way to the farthest within the max distance.
• Fleet Settings Page - Huma Levels: This is where you select what levels the fleet will run. The bot understands lists like 1-5,8,10 and will correctly send to any humaroid level 1 to 5, 8 or 10 with that setting.
• Fleet Settings page - Team: This is where you can designate more than one fleet to be sent to a humaroid. All you have to do is make the value for team match. All matching fleets will be sent to a huma together. This is how you can hit higher level humaroids.

The bot is a PAIN to update for all my accounts.
